Das Serape orientiert sich vom Shape an die kurzen New School Surfboards, die Radikalität und das klassische Carven in sich vereinen. Das Serape lässt sich auf Grund der kürzeren Länge super pumpen und auf Geschwindigkeit bringen, während das breite Tail für ordentlich Druck in den Manövern sorgt. Wer das Serape öfters in der Bowl straßensurfen möchte, für den empfehlen wir die CX Achse, wer eher straßensurfen und carven möchte die C7. Und das sagt Carver zum Serape: "Since the quickest pumping comes from smaller boards we’ve added numerous in-between sizes so you can really dial in your selection. For this model we wanted a small template with a longer wheelbase, so you get the performance of a slightly longer board with a smaller, lighter deck. We were inspired by the short, wide-tailed surfboards we use for carving and air tricks crossover popular in Ventura county. The short length gives you that snappy pump and carve, while the wide tail gives you plenty of leverage to dig deep with your rear foot for powerful turns, and boost big airs with a solid take off and landing platform. "
